If it is determined during the Phase II ESA that soil, groundwater, or other media contain hazardous substances and/or petroleum products at concentrations above allowable regulatory levels, then remediation services may be necessary. SAS is experienced in both ex-situ and in-situ remediation alternatives. SAS is well versed in developing and performing pilot tests used in the remedial options phase of a project. SAS uses the pilot test results in the remediated system design process. In addition to designing the remediation system, SAS has the capabilities to install and operate the system through regulatory closure.
