SAS's principal partner and project managers each possess 10 to 20 years of experience in providing environmental and technical support services for a diverse group of clients. Through successful completion of projects under most of the major federal and state environmental regulatory programs, SAS's management team has established cooperative working relationships with state and federal regulators.

Mark V. Allen, CHMM (Chief Executive Officer)
has provided environmental assessment and remediation support services (as an employee of oil corporations and environmental consulting firms) in the Great Lakes Region since 1981. He has directed and managed complex environmental assessment and remediation projects in a variety of regulatory contexts. For more than a decade, his focus has been directed toward the design, installation, and operations and maintenance of in-situ soil and groundwater remediation systems, and landfill leachate and gas collection systems. He is well-versed in developing cost-effective remediation strategies, and evaluating remediation systems developed by others. He also has extensive experience with oversight of other consultants

Douglas W. Schwan (Chief Financial Officer)
provides SAS with over 25 years experience in business and financial management. His comprehensive experience allows him to negotiate competitive prices with vendors, act as a liaison with lending institutions, and maintains an Excellent "Prompt Pay Rating" as reported by Dunn & Bradstreet.

Douglas P. Klicman, P.G., CP269 (Manager, Environmental Services)
is a Certified Professional in Ohio, a licensed professional geologist in several states, and has provided environmental and hydrogeological assessments and remediation services to clients throughout the eastern US since 1989. He has experience conducting projects under RCRA, the Ohio VAP, and numerous state UST programs.

Laurie B. Hillebrand (Project Manager)
has over 15 years of experience as a consultant focusing on all aspects of the environmental industry. At SAS, Ms. Hillebrand co-manages the due diligence section of SAS, and has been involved in executing ASTM, VAP, ODOT and HUD Phase I and Phase II assessments for lending institutions, developers, industries, and municipalities.

Michael R. McVan (Project Manager)
has over 10 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. At SAS, Mr. McVan co-manages the due diligence (Phase I ESA) section of SAS. He is a Certified Asbestos Hazard Evaluation Specialist, performing asbestos surveys and sampling.
